What if we had a team heartbeat?

The original concept note that became PODx

The IBU team ships fast. Pipelines roll out, NBA models retrain, GenAI booster scripts iterate weekly. But the work sometimes outpaces the storytelling — leadership sees the deliverables, the team sees their own thread, and the cross-pollination between markets gets lost.

PODx is a monthly attempt to fix that. One newsletter. One read. One thread connecting what we built, who built it, and what's next. February is the concept run — testing whether the format even makes sense.

Evolved CEI — What Actually Changes

A scoring-layer change, not a model retraining

◆ CEI · Scoring Layer
No retraining required for the methodology change
The Evolved CEI shift introduces exponential decay and slope/trajectory features into the consumption layer — but the ML model never sees them. That's a scoring-layer adjustment. Retraining is only triggered when the target metric the model optimizes for changes, not when the downstream scoring math evolves. EU CVI remains the correct precedent for "true retraining required."
